Hi, I am Clare, a Potter and Owner of Frinton Pottery.  

To anyone eagerly awaiting new pots and new workshop dates I have to appologise as I am currently recovering from a rotator cuff injury.  This has forced me to take a break from Ceramic production and running workshops.  Watch this space because I will soon be up and running again. I have taken the time to catch up on much needed admin that often gets neglected for most small businesses.

About my work: I make ceramics that reflects my background of growing up in the potteries and also the study of both studio pottery and other worldwide influences such as East Asia. 

I use traditional ceramic building techniques such as throwing, and I am finding that I have only scratched the surface of the possibilities of this wonderful media.  The functional pieces I make which are designed for food and beverages are dishwasher and food safe. 

I am based in the seaside town of Frinton on sea and for those local to the area I do run workshops at the Mcgrigor Hall.  Message me if you are interested and I can add you to a mail list when these activities are on offer.
